Funeral Assistance

CONNEX Assistance Middle East ensures that in the unlikely event that a person passes away abroad, their remains are repatriated at the earliest possible time back to their country of origin. We carry out this service in Egypt, UAE, and Sudan  but also in other countries on request.

Our Human Body Repatriation procedure follows the IATA standards and we handle the end-to-end process needed to ensure a speedy response. As part of the repatriation service, we handle the washing and embalming side of the process as well as the logistical aspects.

For the latter, we carry out the necessary transportation including funeral car transportation and have access to morgues to store the body until repatriation. We also ensure the relevant documentation and authorizations are in order. This includes forensic medicine certification, embalming certification and infection control certification. These documents are all issued in Arabic and we utilise the language skills of our team to translate all documents and get the approval stamps of both the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the relevant Embassy.
