A patient suffering from Intracerebral Hemorrhage with Hypertensive crisis was being repatriated from Baghdad in Iraq to Dubai, UAE. CONNEX Assistance was asked to arrange the hospitalization of the patient in a suitable hospital in Dubai until the patient stabilized and to then repatriate him to the Philippines aboard either an air ambulance or a stretcher flight escorted by a doctor and to arrange admittance in a suitable hospital in the Philippines.
CONNEX Assistance arranged for the admittance of the patient in a suitable hospital in Dubai, while updating the client on the status of the patient by sending regular updated patient medical reports monitored by our in house doctor. CONNEX Assistance presented the client every available option for transfer to the Philippines, including hospital options. The patient selected an option which was to be organized by the patient’s employer.
