1999 by a team of medical professionals looking to
provide tourists and international companies a
higher quality of medical assistance services that
meet international standards. Since then, the
company has grown from a single office in Cairo, to
three operational branch offices in the Middle East
and a medical service provider network covering 12
countries including Egypt, UAE, Sudan, Libya, Saudi
Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Somalia, Uganda, and
Eritrea. Since its inception, CONNEX Assistance
Middle East has been synonymous with high quality
medical, technical, funeral, and legal assistance.

EGYPT In Egypt, the tourism industry
has boomed and the country continues to be a popular
hot-spot all year round with great weather and a
rich cultural history. As a result, the number of
insurance clients has grown exponentially and we are
here to help provide the services needed to
insurance and assistance companies worldwide with an
unfathomable level of service,
The CONNEX Assistance Middle East regional head
office is based in Cairo and we have satellite
offices in Alexandria, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh,
and Luxor. Our medical network comprises over 800
medical facilities and diagnostic centres across the
country enabling us to extensively cover the whole
of Egypt and extend our reach to even the most
remote areas like Saint Catherine’s Oasis and the
Kharaga and Dakhla Oases in the Western Desert.

UAE
Following a surge in the
number of cases handled in the Arabian
Peninsula, we proceeded to extend our reach and
open a UAE branch office in Dubai in 2008,
followed by a satellite office in Abu Dhabi in
2009.
In addition to being a hugely popular tourist
destination, Dubai has grown to become an
important international trade and business hub.
And with assistance being a relatively new field
in the Gulf, having a team on the ground with
over 10 years experience has allowed us to fill
the gap for full-service assistance that is
highly responsive, efficient and cost effective.
AFRICA
Economic woes and political instability means
that certain African countries are difficult to
operate in. CONNEX Assistance Middle East set up
a branch office in Khartoum, Sudan in 2007 to
help address this, and this office now serves as
a regional hub handling most cases in
Sub-Saharan Africa including countries such as
Uganda, Somalia, Eritrea and others.
We are one of a small handful of companies that
offer full service medical, technical, funeral,
and legal assistance in this region in addition
to cost containment services.
